Each account gets one Pro trial, starting when you create your first company. Registering an account alone does not start the trial. Your Pro trial runs through December 31, 2026 or 30 days from creating your first company, whichever is later. Other companies you create during that trial share the same end date. No credit card is required. When the trial ends, each company moves to Free unless you choose a paid plan for it. Companies created after your trial ends start on Free. Nothing is charged automatically.

No. An invitation gives you access under that company’s plan and does not start or use your own account’s trial. Your one-time Pro trial starts when you create your first company.

It all stays, and it stays visible — nothing is hidden or deleted when a company moves to Free. Features that Free doesn’t include become read-only: your inventory items and stock history, and the bank accounts you connected along with the transactions they already brought in, are still there to see, but you can’t update them until you choose a paid plan for that company. On Free you can keep bringing in bank activity by CSV import.

Free is $0. Standard is $29 a month and Pro is $59 a month, per company. Annual billing charges the year up front — $290 for Standard or $590 for Pro per company, about $24.17 or $49.17 a month — so you pay for ten months and get twelve. Each company chooses its own plan and is billed separately. The features are the same either way.

Each company has its own subscription and is billed separately. A Pro subscription covers one company, including its stores and warehouses. You can manage several companies from one account and choose Free, Standard, or Pro separately for each. Buying Pro for one company does not upgrade your other companies.

Most small businesses need Standard. It covers the day-to-day: automatic bank feeds, unlimited invoices, bills, and expenses, sales tax, inventory, purchase orders, and up to 3 users per company. Pro is for a company that needs more than three users, roles and permissions, or multiple stores or warehouses. Choose a plan separately for each company. Need more than 10 users in one company? Free includes 1 user, CSV bank import, bank reconciliation, financial statements, and free accountant access. You can create up to 20 of each kind of sales and purchase record every month, including 20 bills. Each record type has its own allowance. Standard and Pro remove these monthly limits; automatic bank feeds, sales tax, inventory, and purchase orders start with Standard.

Yes. You can create up to 20 bills a month on Free. Vendor credits, payments made, and expenses each have their own separate allowance of 20 a month, just like each sales record type. Using your bill allowance does not reduce any other allowance. Standard and Pro include unlimited bills and other sales and purchase records. Purchase orders are a separate feature included from Standard up.

On Free you can still bring in every transaction: download a CSV from your bank and import it. That works well when volume is low. Once you’re doing it every month, automatic bank feeds on Standard bring transactions in on their own — the upgrade is about saving that time, not unlocking bookkeeping.

Only one, and it doesn’t go to Bokeping: if customers pay invoices online through Stripe or Forte, your provider charges its processing fee on each payment, at the rate in your agreement — during the free trial too. Automatic bank feeds, file import, and accountant access are included, and users are included up to each plan’s limit.

Yes, free on every plan. Each business gets two external accountant logins that do not count toward your user limit, so inviting your CPA never forces an upgrade. This is access for your own accountant or bookkeeper; it does not include a professional’s bookkeeping or accounting services.

No. Each company’s plan includes its own users: Free includes 1, Standard up to 3, and Pro up to 10. A user is anyone who signs in to work on that company’s books. External accountant access is included separately and does not count toward those limits.

Each kind of sales and purchase record has its own limit of 20 a month: invoices, estimates, sales receipts, credit memos, and payments received on the sales side; bills, vendor credits, payments made, and expenses on the purchase side. Hitting one limit doesn’t affect the others. Your books and history stay available, and the limit resets each month. Standard removes every cap, and reaching a limit never triggers a charge.

Canceling an annual plan does not trigger a refund. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Monthly plans work the same way: you keep access until your paid month ends.

Upgrades take effect after payment, with the unused paid value of your current plan converted into extra time on the new plan. To downgrade, we recommend purchasing the lower-priced plan after your current period ends. If you switch earlier, the new plan takes effect immediately and your remaining time does not carry over. Plan changes do not trigger cash refunds.

If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access until your paid period ends. Your books then remain readable and exportable for twelve months, and you can choose to continue on Free. If you cancel Free or an unpaid trial, the read-only period starts immediately. There is no exit fee.

You can import supported customer, vendor, invoice, and bill records from separate CSV/XLSX files. Bank activity can come from CSV/XLSX or bank files such as .qbo. A .qbo file is not a full QuickBooks company export. Review each import and reconcile balances before completing your switch. File import is included on every plan.
