Pick your bank, sign in through Plaid’s secure window, choose the accounts. About two minutes.
Transactions arrive
Deposits and withdrawals show up named and dated — usually before your first coffee, no typing.
Review and confirm
Each transaction waits in For Review with a suggested category. Nothing posts until you say so.

Fair questions
The connection runs through Plaid, the same service most US financial apps use. It’s read-only and encrypted — Bokeping can see transactions but can never move money, and your bank login is never stored on our side.
Import a CSV or QBO file from your bank’s website instead. The transactions flow through the same review screen, and duplicate detection means you can import freely without double-posting. Bank file import works on every plan, including Free — it’s the live Plaid feed that starts on Starter.
