How it works
Add your locations
Name each place stock lives — a second store, the back room, a storage unit. Existing quantities land in your main location until you say otherwise.
Receive and sell by location
Purchase orders arrive into the location you pick; invoices sell from the one you choose. Each count stays honest on its own.
Transfer when stock moves
Create a transfer, mark it received on arrival. Both counts update together and the paper trail shows the trip.

Fair questions
No — Bokeping tracks inventory in a single location out of the box, and everything works without ever opening the warehouse settings. Turn locations on when you actually get a second one; your existing counts carry over.
It shows as in transit — subtracted from the sending location, not yet added to the receiving one, but still counted in your total inventory value. Nothing disappears between the two ends of the trip.
Yes. Counts and adjustments are per location, so a recount at the store corrects the store’s number only. The other locations and your totals adjust by exactly the difference you posted, nothing more.
