Open Bokeping

Why can I view a page but not create or edit?

Check the company, role, plan, document limits, and transaction state before changing access.

In BokepingSettings → Team & Access → Team

Being able to open a page does not always mean you can change its records. The selected company, your role, the plan, and the document’s state can each affect the available actions.

What you notice What to check
A button is missing for one teammate. Their membership and permissions in this company.
A module is readable but new entries are blocked. The company’s plan and the message on the action.
Creation stops after several documents. Any monthly document-limit message.
One specific record cannot be changed. Payment links, matches, reconciliation, or a locked period.
You cannot find the expected company. Which account accepted the invitation and its current membership.

Check access without broadening it unnecessarily

Section titled “Check access without broadening it unnecessarily”
  1. Confirm the company in the company switcher and the signed-in account.
  2. Read the disabled button’s explanation or the full error message.
  3. Ask an authorized administrator to review Settings → Team & Access → Team and the relevant role.
  4. Review the company’s plan through the account menu’s Subscription entry when the message concerns plan access or usage limits.
  5. If only one transaction is affected, follow why a transaction cannot be changed.

A second company, shared login, or broader role is not a reliable fix for a document-state restriction. Give each person only the access their work requires.

Review Pro trial rules for the plan after the trial ends. Viewing existing information and permission to create more records are separate questions.

For invitations, confirm the invited email address, status, validity, and any two-factor requirement. See invite your accountant or a team member.

If the restriction remains unexplained, send support the page, action, and error text with sensitive details removed.

The invitation-form example shows where a role is chosen. A missing action on one locked transaction is not a reason to grant a broader role.
